Sinema Academy of Motion Pictures Limited (SAMP) is a social enterprise founded by photographer/filmmaker Nicholas Chee to propel the growth of the Singapore film industry by providing professional education and services while actively engaging the community via cultural enhancement programmes.
Our two key initiatives are the Sinema Incubator Programme, which provides aspiring filmmakers training, mentorship and equipment support; and SAMPLIFY, a series of educational programmes to enhance film and media literacy within and beyond the Singapore film industry.
We also offer filmmaking courses at all levels with a key focus on industry bridging programmes catering for fresh media graduates. Upgrading courses are also available for media professionals to keep them constantly updated with the latest industry practices.
