APPLICATION INFORMATION

All applications must include the following documents:

1. THE FIRST DRAFT Application Form
2. A one page (maximum) film outline, containing an overview of your narrative – including a beginning, middle and end.
3. One page (maximum) of supporting material, to include:
   • brief biographies of your main characters,
   • a short paragraph on the tone and/or genre of the project,
   • an indication of intended audience and why they will engage with the project,
4. 2 sample scenes in screenplay format, each being up to five pages long (maximum),
5. The completed questionnaire.

NOTES

• Please note the samples scenes have to submitted in industry format , with pages numbered and securely fastened.
• Each page must carry at the top of the page:

• • Full Name
  • NRIC number
  • Mobile phone number
  • Email address

• Applicants are to submit the above-stated documents in hard copy and in a soft copy on disc or thumb drive to: Sinema, 11B Mount Sophia, Old School B1-12, Singapore 228466 – Attention: Miss Joey Leong.
• Please note that email applications will not be accepted.
• Entries will not be returned, so please keep a copy for your own reference.
• No corrections can be made after receipt.
• Enclose a stamped addressed postcard marked ACKNOWLEDGMENT if you require acknowledgment of receipt of your entry.
• A $10 administration fee for your application is payable to SINEMA ACADEMY OF MOTION PICTURES LIMITED. Payment can be made via cash (to Joey Leong at Sinema Old School) or cheque made payable to Sinema Academy of Motion Pictures Limited.
• Please note that the deadline for all applications is 5.00 pm on Monday 22nd January 2010. Entries submitted after the closing deadline will not be accepted.
• The course fees can by made in 3 equal installments.

By applying for THE FIRST DRAFT, all applicants are deemed to have read and understood these terms and conditions. Applicants are expected to be able to commit fully to the programme’s timeline.
